Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Blackburn and Darwen Council's Leaving Care - 16-25 Team as a Team Manager.. This is a full time role, offering an amazing pay rate of £46 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- You will work alongside the Service Manager and our other experienced team manager.
- Your day-to-day support and high-quality supervision will ensure that your team can meet the complex and challenging demands of the service.
- You should be confident in your ability to lead and develop a team.
- And, with an in depth understanding of safeguarding procedures, legislative frameworks (both adult and children's) and social work theories and experience to contribute to practice and policy
- Able to motivate a staff team ensuring high quality supervision is completed regularly which includes management oversight, timely decision making, effective implementation and review of pathway plans.
- Able to be the vital link between Personal Advisors and those making strategic decisions
- Able to analyse weekly data and CHAT data.
- Able to be instrumental in promoting the principles of corporate parenting, delivering and improving services for children and young people.
- Able to allocate resources and workload, manage the team budget and ensure the provision of cost-effective services.
- Able to work jointly with partners in the statutory, private and voluntary sectors.
- Able to plan and deliver effective team meetings, briefs and care leavers events.
Requirements:
- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Current registration with Social Work England
- Enhanced DBS
Experience:
- Children
- Leaving Care
- Supervising preferably 2 years
